Advice for jamming!

Before I bought this shredder I read a number of reviews that claimed the shredder had jammed almost immediately after it had been removed from the box. This happened to me! I believe a number of issues are at play here: 1 The cutters need to be oiled regularly and if possible after each full bin; 2 Regularly remove the shredder head and clear away the build up of paper shreddings - when the shredder head is immersed in the paper shreddings it cannot function properly. Paper shreddings need (through gravity to fall away from the head). If they are unable to do so, the shredder jams. Applying the reverse function just makes the situation worse. It's tiresome having to stop every few moments to clear away the paper but it is well worth it. I have had two Fellows shredders and have been happy with both. Fellows is a good name backed up with a good product.
