Clear lacquer finish
Just what is needed. Will see how durable against chipping in due course.

Replaces original unit quite well
Ball joint unit good quality however locking pin is not and had to use more robust pin. Also very little grease installed so had to pack with 1/4 cup full.

Not suitable for VHS use
Picture has horizontal flicker that cannot be adjusted. Not suitable for VHS analogue to digital conversion.
