The seller went above and beyond to secure every part of the packaging of the product, even protecting the screen from the keyboard that is a usual problem that can mark your screen. And the description of the product was spot on. Tested the nvme and resulted as a genuine one with little use, the seller mentioned the state of the battery in the listing and it was spot on. Great value silent/fanless motherboard
I bought this ASrock motherboard to convert my 8-year-old Zotac mini-ITX desktop into a silent DC-powered machine, as the mains powersupply fan and CPU fan noise were annoying me in my quiet home office. After fitting the motherboard I did some thermal stress testing ( with IntelBurnTest and Prime95 ) to see how hot it would get. HWinfo showed the CPU core temperatures rising to 69 - 75 degC, and 54 C even at idle. I've not used a fanless setup before, but this felt a little warm compared to all my other PCs. So I erred on the side of caution and fitted a 70mm 4-pin fan - from an old graphics card I think - on top of the large CPU heatsink, and it now runs at 37 C idle and 48 C during IntelBurnTest. The fan never goes above 1050rpm so I don't notice it either :) N.B. its not a powerful CPU - CPU passmark is only 1790 - but fine for Windows 10 browsing, email, etc which is all I need. I should also mention it didn't like me mixing two 2GB SO-DIMMs from different brands, even though they had the same specs written on them. So I had to use one 4GB SODIMM.

Good quality used item
Good quality used item, no visible damage, works fine. It had the CMOS battery still attached , which was appreciated as it saved me having to source one of those

well-made, reliable laptop for general office/home use
This is a well made business laptop, the core i5 has good CPU power, good value for money. Despite it being nearly 10 years since the E4310 was introduced, it runs Windows 10 very well, even with only 4GB of RAM. An upgrade to a solid-state disk is very highly recommended, as this speeds up everything dramatically : start-up, web-browsing , monthly Windows Updates etc. One drawback is that it doesn't have a USB 3.0 port : however it has an ExpressCard slot, so for about £25 you can buy a 34mm ExpressCard with two USB 3.0 ports (I use one from CSL brand which I found on eBay) and bob's your uncle.
