so so whats good about this unit compared to others? summary: satnav bluetooth hands free for mobile fm transmitter for voice directions, MP3s and mobile phone. there are very few units out there that can compare read on for indepth review. Primary would have to be the easy use navigation, tap the screen and go to postcodes enter house number job done. Or you can even tell the unit where to go! Yes, its got voice recognition!!! its far from perfect but can handle most addresses with ease, even some tough Welsh place names, which I was very impressed with. It also has a function called IQ routes, this analizes the route and time you will be travelling to minimise delays due to traffic. i.e. if your travelling at peak times through rush hour it will automaticaly plan the route which has less traffick according to statistics, which can cut your journey down by a heck of a lot and it realyl does work, I live close to a major shopping complex and depending on time of day it will give me different driving directions to either by pass it or drive stragith through. The unit comes with a very useful speed camera warning as well, it might not be the most upto date database depending on how iold the unit is. But will certainly have the majority of cameras on there (both mobile and static) now we come to the secondary features, which can be just as useful as the primary if your willing to set the unit up properly. Bluetooth enabled, this means that you can connect your mobile to it via bluetooth and use the unit as a hands free device with very clear sound and a decent microphone for the other party to hear you with, though it is prone to road noise if you have loud background noise. It will also read aloud any incoming text messages automaticaly meaning you dont have to even take your eye off the road when you get a text! there is also a handy touch screen keypad for you to make calls with as well. Very useful for those of us on the go and need to keep in touch. FM Transmitter. now this is probably the reason why I opted for this unit, combine this function with its ability to play MP3s from the memory card and you have an absolutly brilliant mp3 player for the car! onyl this gets better, it will play the voice directions through your car stereo (needs music being played, or even a silent mp3 recording due to regislation regarding fm transmitting devices). The one minor down side about this function is the volume it can be a bit quiet so needs the stero turned up a little, this is very important to remember when you change back to a normal radio station. The one minor down side i have about the unit is the lack of permament docking station for the car, the car charger is a lead that has to be plugged into the unit every time you use it. It would have been better to have a screen mount similar style to the desk docking station. But with all the added bonuses of what this unit can do that really is a minor down side. one side point to add would have to be the ability of the unit to subscribe to the "live" services such as traffick, weather, and buddies, i cant make comment on any of these services due to never having used them.

Basic level 4K uhd in depth

Price paid £255 for new including shipping. If you want basic review you won’t regret buying this tv if your upgrading from a standard hd tv, but if your down grading from a higher quality OLED or better you will notice a drastic decrease in quality. Xbox series x, sky q uhd Netflix Amazon prime all work in excellent quality without any problems. Read on for full review. Had the lg50up7500 for a week now, and picture quality out of the box is bad, very bad. Everything looks too good. Picture has the soap opera look. But a picture setting called film maker mode changes everything. It still needs a little tweaking but eventually with a little time spent in picture settings the tv becomes a whole lot better. Same goes for the sound. Play with the settings and you will find the sound just pops. So will start with picture, watching non show channels is almost unbearable lots of noise and very blurred. Go to a had Chanel and it get a very big improvement. Go to uhd and in the price bracket I think this tv is very hard to beat. Sound Using only the built in speaker it’s decent enough to be heard anywhere in the room from 0-100 I don’t have it any higher than 20 so plenty of room to boost the sound with lots of settings if your struggling to hear certain tones. Features The smart features are where this can get a little awkward. It feels cluttered with the apps fighting to get noticed. Haven’t quite worked out how to rearrange the apps so apps you want are at the front of the line. There is a setting to sort most recent first but seems to take a while to sort this out. Not a perfect menu system. Connectivity Firstly this is why I have only 4 stars. ONLY 2 hdmi inputs. For most people this is way to few, especially if your a gamer. I have surround sound, Xbox, PlayStation and sky. I needed a hdmi splitter. And unless you get something quality you do loose picture quality. This is the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5. Bluetooth connection works fine and is quick and easy to set up, so if you have Bluetooth speakers very easy to get tv playing through the system and with the integrated music apps decent quality for playing music. Alexa/google home Have only used Alexa for the basics but she seems to be able to do everything I ask, change inputs, volume up/down set figure. As well as turning on and off Airplay Using iPhone 11 can send most things to the tv using airplay without any problem. It works, haven’t played with it too much. ThinQ interface and mobile app It turns your mobile or tablet into a smart remote. Control almost all aspects of the tv from your device. Probably one of the best features/gimmicks about this tv. It works much better than using the supplied tv remote. Overall As a budget tv at 4K resolution I think it would be hard to find anything to beat it at this price point. Is it perfect picture? No it’s not but it is a very good picture. Build quality Hmm, this is a very light weight tv, everything feels cheap, everything is basic plastic the bezel, the feet and it just screams basic when your touching it. The feet are very unstable but it is real sticky solid as long as your not moving the tv about every 5 minutes. Powering on from standby is quick and responsive. Powering on from mains takes a few moments.
