Awful
Probably the worst film EVER. Terrible acting, dreadful effects and weak story writing.

Good Old Fashioned British Drama At it's Very Best
1 of 1 found this helpful As an avid collector of 1960's and 1970's British Sit Coms and British Drama, I have to say that this collection is one of the best examples of British drama ever put on TV. I remember the original series run in 1979 and loved it then. Now I find that it's exactly what's needed sometimes to wind down before bed after a stress filled day. I find the combination of Rohld Dahl, the screenwriter's skills, and the good old fashioned British actors just perfect for escaping from today's stresses and demands. Even if it is only for 30 minutes or so. The only downside to series one is the fact that it was the shortest run. The whole series only totals 225 minutes, and only consists of 9 episodes. However, the lack of episodes is more than made up for by actors such as Susan George, Pamela Stevenson, John Gielgood, Micheal Troughten, Peter Bowles, Brian Blessed, and a whole host of other much loved and celebrated actors. The Subsequent series contain more episodes and yet still maintain the quality of actors/actresses... Buy it! It's even fun to spot all those well known faces that you had almost forgotten, and then try and recall what they used to appear in.
