Great but not as easy to fit as made out
A very weighty and well made item.
Should have been packed more securely as it had burst through the plywood packing and the box on delivery. No damage however.
Removal of original seat was fairly simple, you need a TX55 to remove the very tight bolts.
Fitting the swivel was not as quick and easy as made out. Took about four attempts to get it shimmed level and needed extra M12 washers for this so be prepared - for the price they should really supply a few. Alignment of a couple of bolts was slightly out too and I had to use some brute force to get them all in.
When re-fitting the seat to the swivel I again needed a couple of shim washers to get it to sit flat and the locks to work smoothly.
It’s a bit fiddly to use with four locks and six safety pins and raises the seat by a couple of inches leaving very little room for the headrests when rotating it. Also can’t seem to rotate it without opening the passenger door slightly (maybe I need to practice more).
Overall though a great item and all the effort to fit it was worth it in the end as it works great, nice and smooth and really improves the use of our van.
