If your an absolute beginner to HTML 4.0. This is the book you need.
I previously bought this book a long time ago, but sadly lost it. I'm glad I found them again, thanks eBay.
If your an absolute beginner to HTML and JavaScript programming and your looking for simple guides to teach you the basics. These books are the most important ones you will ever need.
They both have great examples and although the books themselves are old and they have some technology that isn't used anymore or all that much, for example The Netscape Browser (which no longer exists),tags, CGI, Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator. It's worth baring in mind that both books where written back in 1999. A lot has changed over the years including the technology that displays websites.
and
However with that said, this is as simple introduction to HTML and JavaScript as your likely to get, furthermore there are other guides in these languages called "HTML in easy steps" and "JavaScript in easy steps" which are also worth getting, but they are not as detailed. As most of the code is removed to save space. In these books you will get the entire code displayed in the book for you to try and write yourself.

A rival to the Apple IPAD and in some cases a better alternative.
If anyone would ever consider buying a tablet PC with all the bells and whistles of the Apple IPAD.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab would be your next best option and is a lot cheaper. I don't mean to sound bias, but I find using the Android Operating System much easier than the operating systems used on the IPAD or MAC OS.
However where the Android operating system is concerned. Try to avoid going for any tablet or mobile that is below version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Because it has better features and security, plus the operating system will get regular updates.
I also found that with the IPAD you need to have I Tunes installed to get more apps. (I could be wrong here) But with Android you don't need a program like I Tunes installed. All you need to do is visit an App store like Google Play, Slide Me or App brain to get more apps, so the choice is endless. But it doesn't seem that way with Apple
All in all, it's down to choice. What can you afford and which do you prefer. Do consider giving the Galazy Tab a go, you won't regret it.
