Elvira a cult classic
1 of 1 found this helpful Elvira, Mistress of the Dark is a comedy worth seeing with jokes being fired thick and fast, and with double-entandres popping up around every corner.
Elvira was already a cult figure (and what a figure, pardon the pun) long before this movie was made, however the movie gives the character a real chance to shine and cassandra petterson a real chance to have fun with her cult icon alter-ego.
If you love the kind of comedy turned out be comics such as Ben Elton you will love this movie, and if your a fan of classic B-Movies you will laugh till you cry with all the gags thown around in this film.
Elvira, Mistress Of The Dark just keeps on mesmerising us, keep up the great work Elvira.

A Storm of a Movie
4 of 4 found this helpful Stephen King's Storm Of The Century, what can be said, it rocks would be a good start.
Seriously it is good.
The suspense is kept at a high from the start, and you get a real sense of forboding as the story progesses.
The word eerie comes to mind, and it fits so well.
Each character gives a great performance, getting more helpless as time passes.
I can recomend this to anyone who has a love of horror, thrillers or suspenseful films, and of course those who love Stephen King's books.
Give it a try you won't regret it.

Zombies! everywhere!
1 of 1 found this helpful Three movies in a stylish box set, what could be better, it saves space and lets you own the movies you want to watch, indeed what could be better.
Well there is the ever sexy star Milla Jovovich for a start.
And lets face it she is a good enough reason to watch the movies even if Zombies freak you out.
Zombies, yes they play a big part in these films don't they, just as they do in the games.
Gotta love a good zombie film, and we all do on some level, reminds us that we are not in total control of things and that it could all go wrong, when some idiot tries to over come death and makes a hash of it all.
We need a good scare every now and then, and these films deliver excitement and a dark look at the world created by the Resident Evil games.
OK they are not as scary as the games or other Zombie movies, but for excitement and action packed adrenaline pumping thrills, look no further.
Plus there is the bonus of watching Milla Jovovich kicking some Zombie heads in.
Add to that some seriously cool special effects and you have a winner.
When other games are made into films they will have to work hard to meet these standards, Resident Evil rocks.
So if you buy these movies, well done.
Now turn off the lights, turn on the surround sound (if you have it), grab a cold drink and some popcorn and get comfortable (with easy access to the back of the sofa, just in case).
Oh yes, remember to aim for the head it is the only way to kill a Zombie.
