Easy way to add VW CarPlay!
1 of 1 found this helpful Incredibly simple to install - just removed my old stock VW RCD-510 and installed this in its place. No special cables other than the antenna cable that was included. It just worked in my 2010 Jetta TDI.
Only cons are the AM radio uses 9 KHz steps whereas the US uses 10 KHz so it's pretty much useless for AM (not that ever listen to AM) and the backup camera gets enabled every time I put the car in reverse although I don't have a backup camera. A visit to my local VW dealer with a VCDS cable will fix this in five minutes.
This is a great deal and a great radio - delighted with my purchase.
