Smart Keyboard for 12.9‑inch iPad Pro (A1636) 1st Gen, 2nd Gen

Great idea but didn't work out for me

At first I was really excited for it - hard to find a SmartConnector keyboard for an old iPad Pro. When I first bought my iPad Pro, I got a Logitech SmartConnect keyboard for it, which I thought was tremendous. It gave out after about 3 years and is no longer made. I bought a Lenrich USB keyboard to replace it, which was heavy as a pig but worked okay. When it gave out, I looked for another SmartConnector keyboard. I found this on eBay and thought I'd give it a shot. It arrived okay and was in good condition. When I first used it, I noticed a subtle warp. It wouldn't sit solidly on a table. Irritating, but no big deal. A few months in, I started getting messages from iOS saying "accessory not supported." If I wiggled it around enough, I could get it to work but it seemed the contacts were no longer secure. Those messages got more and more obnoxious until I just replaced it with another Lenrich USB keyboard...
