A fair degree of skill with the use of one's hands will be required
The installation of this aerial requires a fair degree of skill with the use of one's hands and both basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. The aerial cable terminates with a female plug for which there appears to be no UK matching male plug so this has to be cut off and replaced with an F type co-axial connector. To do this wind insulation type around the existing 4.0 mm diameter of the outer insulation until it becomes 6.0 - 7.0mm dia. This will enable connection to the existing aerial cable in your Caravan or Motor Home using another F-Type connector.
Once connected it works very well indeed but I have noticed that the external aerial, when shortened to its minimum length for travelling, does not engage in the lower clip very well. This, however, is a small matter which does not detract from the otherwise excellent performance.
