It works

its great for cymbal swells, mallet like attack on drums and possibly more. however it will leave felt marks on cymbals. this might be because they are new. the markings easily wipe off with a dry cloth.

these sticks are great for practicing or any application where that chances of braking are high. i get these to use in rehearsal. they are a little lighter than other 5A brands. i personally would consider using harder wood, name brand sticks for stage.
