A strong replacement for the original Hoover product and very easy to install.

Very useful, but operate with care.
This is my second such product; the first one lasted me over 10 years before the handle snapped. In both products the design could have been better. It is necessary to hold it down with one hand while turning the crank with the other. A slight movement of the holding hand results in skinned knuckles.
The slicer attachment has improved holding compared to the old one.
I find this invaluable for making chutneys, jams and other preserves and it uses no electricity. The base handle does not fit as well on the new one as did the old one, but that's a small problem. I hope this one lasts as long as 10 years. Gadgets like this are hard to find.
