Chlorinator Wrench
Does exactly what is needed to remove the Hayward chlorinator screw-down cap: provides much more leverage. When unscrewing the cap, be sure to stablize the chlorinator itself, using your other hand, unless the pipe / chlorinator installation is rock solid.

Review (early) of the Five Star Form Fit car cover
Only time will tell about how well this cover stands up to summer sun, but the upper surface is certainly waterproof and a shiny gray color right now. The inside is of a soft material that will, if kept clean and free from particles, protect the car's paint. I can't tell how easily water vapor can pass through from the car to the atmosphere, through that waterproof upper layer. The cover is substantial, but not as heavy as the multi-layer fabric covers that all seem to be made of the same 'waffle'-like material. My experience of that sort of fabric is that the sun destroys it completely within two years. The elastic seems quite strong and there is no problem keeping the cover on the car, although I am going to use the security cable holes or perhaps some Lowes tarp clips to moor the cover to some water filled milk containers, just in case there is a really serious storm. So far - just a few months - I am satisfied with the purchase, which I think gives very good value for the reasonable price.

HP 8210A card reader repair
A certain level of skill is required to take the card reader apart and re-assemble it, in particular the tendency of push-on wires to come adrift. If you carefully document which wire color comes from where the wires can be easily plugged back in place. Any glue-like old traction wheel (gummy wheel) substance must be completely removed before installing the two 'O' rings that replace the one original wheel. The kit itself comes with plenty of spares (you only need two per card reader) and very good instructions, so you only need a small amount of crazy glue and a tooth pick to install it EXACTLY where and how the instructions say to, and the new traction wheel should work fine. Take photos of the assembly - or rather, dis-assembly - and pay particular attention to how the small springs and guides fit into the card guide slot: you are bound to regret it if you don't! It's a good kit at a very reasonable price, and delivery was excellent.
