Brilliant read.
Such a brilliant writer, first hand knowledge from an RNVR officer who took part in most of the incidents recounted. Insight, knowledge, analysis, and compassion abound. I found it almost impossible to put down. I recommend it highly.

An excellent book.
This book tells part of the story of the very first Fairmile that my grandfather built. I am delighted to have found the book to add to the history of these Motor Launches. The author writes as he found it, an ordinary seaman who became a commissioned officer. Much of the writing is from his diary written during the war. There is a whealth of detail about life in the Royal Navy during wartime and detail of the operation of minesweepers. An excellent buy.

Simple, secure, does the job.
Easy to install as a replacement when battery finally gives out. It simply clicks into existing fitment and then lets you know all is as it should be.
