    R. Crumb's Devil Girl Choco-Bar "It's Bad For You"
    17 Apr, 2022
Some of us remember...the good old days.
Although I wouldn't eat it (it IS almost 30 years old!) ,this intact Choco-Bar is a great souvenir of the last great days of underground "comix" and it's greatest and most famous artist, Robert Crumb. The days when the 60's concept of artistic freedom of expression was still remembered. Freedom of speech (and art) is now a distant memory. Young people now don't even know what they've lost, because they never had it. Here's to you, R. Crumb. Iconoclasm lives.

    Tabonga strikes!
They don't make 'em like this anymore. Let me say that I have a weakness for low budget horror & sci-fi films of the 50's and 60's. The hokier the better. And brother, this is hokey! A walking tree monster stalking a tropical island ,possessed by the spirit of a murdered man. I saw this on TV when I was a little kid and never forgot it. If you like Ed Wood-style filmmaking, this is for you. Tabonga rules!
