Nextbase 300W Dash Cam, Brand New, Sealed Box

Good value, less intrusive dashcam - shame about the App.
Replaced a faulty older generation Nextbase dashcam with this more simple model. Recording quality very good. Two issues - the set up instructions that come in the box don’t mention how to easily format the SD-card (you simply hold down the red button with the exclamation mark for 5 seconds and it’s done). This is an oversight given this dashcam has to format every SD card you use before it will work. I messed around for ages trying to format the card in my laptop but the dashcam still kept saying ‘format SD Card’ (yes, it speaks!) and also trying to use the ‘format SD card’ function in the app (which it won’t do first time of using). Deep in the online help you’ll learn that new SD cards have to be formatted by this dashcam - and how to do it, as described above. It would save a heap of time adding this to the quick set up guide. The other grumble is the App. It’s very temperamental and often disconnects when you’re using it, which is really annoying given this is the only way to control this camera beyond the basic set up. For the price - which was excellent value - this is a good dashcam, which I’d rate excellent with some improvements mentioned.

Just what I needed to mount 22" monitor for CCTV
Needed something simple to mount a monitor on a wall next the our CCTV control module and this was just the ticket - very good value for money.
