  Was actually a Teac fd-235hg and not the one pictured. No protection in the box and while there were fragile handle with care stickers in the box, the postman did just put it through the letterbox for it to clunk down on my hall floor. However it seems to work ok. Fin eraser I can tell. Just a little bubble wrap would have been nice

  I pack these drives in a carboard box, and when it's tapped up the drive cannot move also no room for bubble wrap. (perhaps you should put a mat in your hall floor?.) if FD-235HG is no good for your needs please let me know.
