Song of the South Sing Along Songs
1 of 1 found this helpful Probably the best of the "sing along" series by Disney. May be the only chance your kids will get to experience a snippet of the original "Song of the South" cartoon characters.
The actor who plays Uncle Rehmus did a wonderful job and will never receive the credit he deserves because of a few inconsiderate critics of the content of the original movie.
If some people feel the movie portrays african-americans in the South poorly, then why not ban actors, movies or TV shows that portray non-african-americans poorly like Don Knots, the 3 Stooges, Beverly Hillbillies, Abbott and Costello, The Honeymooners, Martin and Lewis, etc.
"Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs" surely must be offensive to Dwarfs and Midgets and ordinary people with speech impediments by use of the cartoon character named "Dopey".
If you really look hard enough, you can find something that offends someone in every movie, sitcom or character-depiction. "All in the Family" and "Movin' on up"?-----I rest my case....

Lots of storage space
I was looking for a rolling cart to store my 3 projectors and X-box in that would also double as a table for each projector when I wanted to use them. The height was perfect for my screen and I could roll away the cart when I was done with it. This is exactly what I was searching for and then some.
The top is the only part made of plastic, main body is sheet metal. Lots of tool and parts holders designed into the plastic top and under the hardboard removable top insert. Well engineered.
Assembly was very minimal but, for me, very exacerbating. You have to attach four wheels to bottom of the cart and each has four nuts and bolts to put in. You remove large bottom drawer and have to blindly feel the hole locations, insert bolt, thread nut onto bolt (tight quarters) and hand-tighten. The two back side wheels were the most awkward due to longer reach required into the casing. Almost impossible to apply a wrench inside casing due to braces. I finally solved the tightening problem by gently snugging up the inside nuts (total of 16) and, using a ratchet socket wrench, just kept rotating it until it finally tightened up rock solid. I didn't have to hold the nut for it to catch. There are two runner "tabs" on each plastic top half that are factory trimmed but not flush enough. They prevent screw holes from aligning with metal cart top. They are on the leading edges that butt together to form the complete plastic top. A hacksaw blade easily removes them so the two top halves can come together.
Only issue I have currently is that the top drawer has metal-to-metal scraping when I open and close it. I'll have to check it out.
I love the unit, definitely would recommend it and would not hesitate to buy a couple more if I needed to.

Great once I learned to use it
1 of 1 found this helpful Operations are not intuitive. Very frustrating, high learning curve. Too many possible setting selections to be done in a certain sequence. Reminds me of my first digital electric wrist watch instruction sheet. " Press 1, hold 2 for 3 seconds, press 1 once more, press and hold 1 and 2 once for each display item, press twice to delete, once more to set default..." Try to remember that each time you want to set the time or alarm.
However---Once I learned how to use it, I totally love it. It's like a miniature recording studio. It will only accept a 1Gb or less memory card. Anything larger will not work. It has an input for both instrument and microphone. Most others only have one. Knowing precisely when to end recording takes a lot of practice. If not done exactly right, the playback loop will not be complete.
I always start recording with the bass line, no vocals and always use the metronome, mic off. Once you're satisfied with that, you can overdub to your hearts content. I would recommend writing down exact initial startup settings for the mic and instrument volume knobs. That way, you can control recorded levels for vocals and instruments. If you are recording a song with dominant guitar presence, raise it a little before you start recording. If you want a soft harmony vocal in the background, lower the mic volume before starting. You cannot change individual track levels once they are recorded or overdubbed.
