dated but great in places
well, dated is the first thing I noted when I listened to it, i was listening to similar aged music recently and it felt as fresh as it was first performed but, maybe the dvd is better to watch.
There are exceptions of course, Jimi is plainly astonishing, and theWho were great, seems strange saying this 46 years on, but they were really great, but sadly without going through each and every performance the rest is quite frankly not up to their standard
any experience is purely subjective and maybe the DVD is a better option but I re`ally didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would

excellent book about an incredible person
this is a most excellent read about a fascinating and incredible human being, soldier and general, what he achieved and how he achieved his success was astonishing and so astute, no wonders soldiers and generals consider him, quite simply, the best general of WW2
