Great little modules
These are great little esp8266 boards. Nice and compact, easy to connect to and very reliable. What more could you want?
Timer Remote Control Shutter for Sony A7 A7II ILCE-7 A58 A6000 NEX-3NL RM-VPR1

Great little timer...
This works really well on my Sony A7ii. The only downside is the adaptor that goes from the 2.5mm jack on the timer's cable to the USB socket on the camera. This arrangement is a bit flimsy. I've wrapped the join in self-sealing rubber tape to make it a bit stronger which seems to work well. All-in-all it's a good timer and it reliably triggers the camera. What more could you ask for? 😆
DIY RADIO 40M CW Shortwave Transmitter QRP Pixie Kit Receiver 7.023-7.026MHz UK

Easy to build. Awful to use.
The pixie kit is well put together as far as kits go but it's a very primitive circuit so performs very poorly. Buy one of you want to practice your construction skills but don't expect any actual use from the thing as it's very deaf on receive and throws out tons of harmonics on transmit. I've bought a few of these from various sellers for comparison and they're all the same. It's amazing that it works at all given the simplicity of the circuit. There are lots of versions of this on sale with various connector options so maybe it's a good cheap source of components. I'd recommend putting in a few more ££ and buying something like the QCX kit which is incredible value for money.
