Works on some DVD/VCR s others don't.

Worked on my Polaroid and Sony but would not on my Sylvania or JVC. I followed all instructions. To no avail.

Good for parts that I needed.

I purchased the item for parts (DVD feature and remote control). I've saved the remaining parts of the Unit for later. The VCR didn't work at all and the display/clock also were not functioning. However, the DVD and remote are what I needed.
