A big promise that turned out to be dissapointing
Terry Giliam has made many movies that became corner stones in this industry.
The imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was intended to be another such example, however as much as the film shows the creativity invested in trying to drive our imagination beyond the wildest dreams - the plot slows down quite soon after a dramatic and promising beginning, taking us through the film in a slow pace until a somewhat disappointing end...
...A big hope - that does not fulfills itself, worth watching if only for the marvelous wild imaginative scenes
