Read the book then put your knowledge to work
'Nuf said. David Paul Williams gives you a great knowledge basis. It's up to you to put it to work.

Paige Capos
Best country rhythm/bluegrass capo on the market. It doesn't encumber your fretting hand in the first position chords. Light, quick and extremely functional. A must have in your guitar case!

Must Read for any Trout Fisherman
Hughes writes this book more as a narative of experiences of how he has approached small steam situations and what he has done to be successful. In reading it the learning is what you make of it. There are all sorts of tips and tricks to up your game not only in small steam situations but chasing fish in general. If you are looking for an outline form pictograph filled how-to manual this book isn't for you, but if you are willing to sit down with an expert in the field and have him thoroughly explain his methodology, techniques and tactics this is a must read. I suggest you keep a notebook handy to jot down things you've learned or capture notes in the margin, because you will find yourself referring back to Hughes in tutelage in the future.
