one star short of five

Does what it is meant to do. Only criticism to forfeit the extra star is that there is some irritating stitching or material on the inside that makes it irritate the skin so not 100% comfortable so I wear it with a crepe bandage beneath. Still, it has improved my issue with golfer's elbow.

Best substitute for Imps

Since Mighty Imps went out of production I've searched for something similar. Licorice and menthol Nipits come closest. Almost undetectable difference in taste but a little more brittle in texture. Not cheap but even Imps got very pricy before their demise but buying a box in bulk works out best for the 'addict'. By comparison to smoking these are cheap and very satisfying and if you suck a few before or with a Guinness or dark ale, by 'eck it improves the taste no end. Highly recommend.

What do you expect for a fiver?

Didn't match expectation which to be fair was relatively low anyway. Not the same as in the illustration; uncomfortable in the ears and could barely hear my own heartbeat. But it was under a fiver and not worth the hassle of sending back. More a novelty prop, definitely not a quality scientific instrument. Given good value rating.... as a toy.
