Perfect for Metal Embossing
I used these Fishers Texture Plates in a recent metal embossing class (used pewter, aluminum and copper). They are easy to use and give great patterns and textures on metal.

Great way to learn French - particularly as a 1st time learner!
I have been using this book series with a French class for senior adults for three years. Our teacher is a retired high school French teacher, and the book is designed for use with those students. Since I had never taken French before, this series has been perfect for me. It includes: vocabulary, grammar, verb conjugation/tenses, expressions/idioms, sentence construction, and dictionaries. Each chapter includes exercises that can be written and/or spoken and often culture info (in French). I've used my teacher's books, but decided to invest in my own copies (Blanc et Bleu). For me, only negative is that it is geared to high school students (conversations are more relevant to that age BUT still good practice). Series also comes with an activity book (some exercises are listening ones, so you need the tape that goes with the book).
