Good product - good value and delivery
A good and quick tool for the untrained to keep their drills sharp. It has an overheat thermostat built in so if you are sharpening 30 drills it will shut down automatically for about 5 mins. to cool down - this is not mentioned in the instructions. Also missing is how to adjust the grinding wheel :- I found the easiest way was to start with the wheel fully down. then drop your drill il and slowly raise the wheel until it touches the drill tip, then begin the rocking motion back and forth. You will have to do this with each drill as larger or smaller drills will have a different grinding height. You will not get a full "rake" profile as you would by hand on a bench grinder as the bit does not lift up to get a 'back grind', but that is OK as you are just effectively sharpening the leading edges.

Good product/good price/life expectancy - time will tell.
We have had our old humidifier unit for 20 years, and now it has died. Ordered this unit, and what a surprise - how technology has changed over that time. The collection box is a little small but that can be overcome as an external drain pipe is included, which would be useful should you be away from your house for a period. The unit is situated in the middle of our bungalow and the noise level on low speed fan position is acceptable during the night. Good build quality and being able to select your required humidity is very useful.

A very good product - do not be put off by the 1 star recommendation
0 of 2 found this helpful I did rate this product when it first arrived with 5 stars for everything. It is a good product, value for money and I would recommend it. So now you are thinking "Why has he only given 1 star". Sadly my unit failed after two days of use and I contacted the supplier who was exceptional in every way in so much as they offered a complete refund,or replacement with no problem what-so-ever.
However, as it cost only £15 I decided to repair it myself, and eventually found a faulty connection on one of the strain gauge transducers this could not be fixed so the unit was scrapped. Please keep in mind my response from the supplier and do not be put off by just one small problem that could have happened to anyone, and could have been rectified by myself should I have decided to go down that route. Salter have been in the weighing industry for many years with a world wide reputation and they did not receive that by selling a questionable product !!!
