Filter kettle
Bought this filter kettle to replace a Russel Hobbs filter kettle which failed after only 3 years (would no longer switch off). The Morphy Richards is solidly made and functions well, only time will tell as to it's reliability.
As far as is design features it doesn't have a see-through body like the Russel Hobbs or the blue LED, but it is a lot cheaper.
The handle seems to be be designed the wrong way round, sloping inward towards the top giving it a funny feel; most coffee pots of similar shape have the handle sloping in towards the bottom.. This coupled with the fact that it is much heavier than the Russel Hobbs makes it difficult to feel in control when pouring. Aside to these negatives it does the job, and we can only hope it lasts longer than the Russel Hobbs.
