A Quiet, Well Made Mid Price Mid Output Power Unit.
Fan speed is adjusted by the temperature of the unit. If its not pushed hard its very quiet.
Dynamic regulation must be adequate. I've used several of these units and they just work. I don't have the equipment to test that any more.
Its a single 12v rail unit, rather than a two rail unit. That's more a fashion statement than anything.
There are no sound engineering reasons to prefer one design over the other.
Everything is black. The case, the wiring, even the provided fixing screws.
The wire lengths are more that adequate for a mid tower case with enough to tidy up with tiewraps.
In general, ATX PSUs are commodity items. You get what you pay for. This is a quiet, mid price well made unit from a well known brand that I expect to last the life of the PC and them some.

Small, well made basis for a DIY NAS and/or Virtual Machine Host
Is it quiet? is a maybe. The basic system is quiet, it has a single huge low speed fan that cools everything. If you put 5 noisy HDD in it, it won't be quiet any more.
Its lower power than subsequent generations.
Its well made, with 4 x 3 1/2" bays and one for an optical drive.
My system runs 5 Linux VM which don't do a lot but have 2Gb RAM each. The 16G RAM is twice the documented limit. Choose your RAM carefully. It must be two identical 8GB sticks with 9 RAM chips each side.
The VMs are VPN endpoint, so I can use WiFi hotspots out and and about. My router, my media collection, mail server and a few odds and ends. The lower power consumption is important as it runs 24/7. Its about 60w working hard with 5 HDD installed.
