Inexpensive smart phone
1 of 1 found this helpful In addition to being a phone this device has a good camera/video function, a mediocre GPS, nice radio and tune storage/playback. I bought this Nokia 5230 to replace a tmobile Samsung flip phone. All I had to do was to move the SIM card from the Samsung to the Nokia. I use the Tmobile pay-as-you go plan at 10 cents/minute. I don't use the Nokia's internet access.

Perfect for aging ears
The additional volume controls make it easier for my hearing impaired wife to use the telephone. Her new hearing aids are good but the volume boost really helps her. The handset is a little heavier than previous panasonic phones.

Older is better
I like the closer shave that I can't get with a newer shaver.
