No better than a standard rawl plug in my view?

I had expected the rawl plug to open out inside the hollow door to provide firm anchorage for the screws but they don’t appear to open at all. Admittedly the main problem is the shoddy quality of the door but I’ve wasted money and time on buying & installing rawl plugs which don’t do any better a job than the standard ones I already had.

Good quality, versatile stamp

Door handle fixed at last!

The handyman at work suggested these were what I needed when I asked him for advice about a handle pulling out of its fixings on a low-quality door recently installed at home. These screws are thinner than the ones he uses but they are holding the handle firmly. I had problems cutting/snapping them to the correct length but did it eventually and then they were quite easy to fit.
