Got-Rot Gets The Job Done!
This product is very effective for repairing damaged core wood in fiberglass boats. It is very thin after it’s mixed and seeps deep into voids and into damaged wood. It’s a permanent repair that saved me thousands of dollars over the cost of cutting out and replacing damaged balsa wood. Only a 1/4” hole was required near each soft spot to apply the product. Sometimes, a second 1/4” hole to release air helped the application. It usually sets up quickly, but on a cool wet day an application took several hours to harden. The deck seems stronger than it was with the original wood core. Very happy here!
