Works great when paired with the right software
I am giving this product 5 stars based on understanding how to most effectively use it. The accompanying software that pinnacle provides is outdated and useless. I could never get their driver updates to function properly. I also tried several different products. The most user friendly is NCH's "Debut" video capture software. So far I have captured over 150 hours of VHS tape to digital files on my computer. The only issue this software has, is it will occasionly start capturing in black-and-white instead of color. The simple solution to this is to shut down then re-open the program.
