Compact and bright enough.
It is small enough to carry with you in a backpack or purse. The only criticism I have is that (at least the one I got) the beam is not well focused. There is a bright spot surrounded by and area of not so bright with an outer ring of a little brighter light. I've purchased several different flashlights like these and this particular model has the least cohesive light. Whether it is zoomed in or out, the light is not uniform and "efficient". Not at all a bad product, just not as good as others...but what do you want for such a low price, right?

Excellent as computer monitor except for one thing...
1 of 3 found this helpful The size and image quality is fantastic for playing games on or just surfing the web or doing word docs. The only drawback is that there isn't a setting to resize and center 4:3 games, so 4:3 games are stretched to fit the wide screen. It makes the characters a bit wide but is not so bad that it is a deal breaker. I may be missing something, but I haven't found a way to have 4:3 games fit top to bottom with black bars on the left and right to maintain the correct aspect.
Other than this quirk (which of course doesn't apply to widescreen games), I love this monitor!

Could/should have evolved into something great. Stunted by lack of support.
7 of 7 found this helpful The idea of combining an e-ink reader and an Android based LCD tablet in one small device was a great idea, and if the company were to continue to develop this quirky device I'd follow it closely. I have read conflicting reports, but some say that Microsoft has gobbled up enTourage and they are, in fact, working on a windows based tablet. I guess we will see.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Pros: light, fold-able, nicely portable little device that can be held like a paperback book. When closed, no case or screen cover is necessary to protect it. e-ink side uses just a trickle of energy so it can be left on. LCD side hibernates at user chosen times. Journal feature allows notes on different types of "paper"...lined, graph, plain. Pretty good speaker compared to most tablets. Full size USB, SD Card slot, mini-USB for computer transfer, mic, headphone jack. Matte screens for less glare. You can view a webpage on the e-ink screen (although you cannot actually use the web on the e-ink side, just view a currently opened page). e-reader technology works well in bright light.

Cons: Writing with pen takes getting used to as it is slow to register the line. No Wacom pressure sensitivity (just one selectable line thickness at a time). No direct access to Android Market (you have to find downloadable apps elsewhere). Unsupported by enTourage company...no official assistance (so I'd only recommend this for tech savvy people who can figure it out). No charging through USB, only with provided ac adapter.
