Great self depreciating british humour. Worth the price paid.
Humour without nastiness is always welcome. This series has always been a favourite of mine. Well acted by the best of british character actors. Some of the storylines are very remeniscent of those stories recounted by my parents

A very funny and nostalgic look into my past.
It was scary how familiar some of the situations were to me, bringing back memories of my own basic training at RAF Bridgenorth. the drill instructors were almost (but not quite) as unsympathetic to those of us that we encountered at the end of the fifties. there were plenty of incidents that would have gone well into further episodes.
