Great car needs only a coupler upgrade
Great fidelity to detail. The only drawback as with all the Walthers cars is the cheap plastic couplers that they include with the model. Couplers can be replaced with metal ones, however

Has all the bells and whistles
Authentic looking Norfolk and Western "J" class locomotive. Pulled nine brass passenger cars up a 1-1/2 percent grade with no problems. Smooth running and has great sound especially the whistle. Has a smoke feature which I haven't tried yet.
