**Warning** not suitable for all cool boxes polarity wrong and gets extremely hot
1 of 1 found this helpful The polarity was wrong for my cool box so the element got extremely hot. (My coolbox does not have a switch for polarity to make the item warm things like some models.)
The item is not suitable for all makes/models of cool box.
Buyers of this item should give it a quick 10 minute check to make sure it works correctly before using for a long period of time.
The issue was easily rectified by cutting a groove in the plug and filling in the original groove and putting the plug in the cooler box opposite way round. (This was my work around but do it at your own risk.)
I have recommended the item as it does work after the slight modification and now does the job purchased for but check it out before long periods of use.
