Easier than you think!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you have a 2-valve Ford Triton engine that likes to blow spark plugs, this is the product for you! If you follow the enclosed DVD/written instructions to the letter, you will have no problem doing this repair. There are also some very good videos on YouTube on the subject. You will need an air compressor (the higher psi and the more air storage the better), a bore scope/endoscope, and an automotive ratchet (I used a Milwaukee M12 Fuel cordless and it worked great...or a standard air ratchet). The back cylinders (4 and 8 on a V8) are buggers to get at...the fuel rail gets in the way. If I was to do it over again, I think I would make life easier and remove the fuel rail, but that's just me. The actual process of reaming the hole, re-tapping the threads, blowing out all the drilling bits (critical), and bonding in the insert took in total maybe 15-20 minutes per cylinder...more time went into prep than actually doing the process. Great product and would highly recommend it!

Perfect fit with just enough suppression.
Fit into existing hanger hardware and exhaust pipes perfectly. Just the right amount of sound suppression. Appears to be of good, heavy quality, but cannot say how long it can last because I've only had it on for a couple weeks. I would highly recommend this product.

A handy backup
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought the Wood Burning Rocket Stove as a backup just in case propane availability ever becomes sporadic. However, I will now probably also take this stove along on camping trips because it works even better than I expected. I immediately tried it out in the driveway (cooked my morning breakfast). Be sure to practice using this stove a couple times when you first get it. I found it required way less paper to start a fire than I initially thought, and had it burning too hot at first to fry bacon and eggs. With a little practice, however, it is amazing how fast and fuel efficient this little stove really is! Being able to cook a full meal with a handful of twigs is really something! If you've been interested in trying a rocket stove, I'd highly recommend this one.
