Great for setups where you don’t want to run wires.
The only reasonably priced system I was able to find that had wireless rear speakers.

Excellent camcorder with a comfortable grip and great features
Having looked at numerous camcorders I decided on this primarily due to its convenient grip and features. Although it's no longer being manufactured as Sanyo was acquired by Panasonic it is every bit as good as any new camcorder on the market and should remain state-of-the-art for years to come.
One notable feature on this camcorder which is not present on similar "pistol grip" devices is the ability to add filters, lenses, and a lens hood.
When the camera first came out there was a "holster" available for it but that has apparently been discontinued and the standard carrier is a padded bag. This works well if there isn't a conversion lens mounted on the camcorder. However, if lenses are attached it would be necessary to purchase a case for it.

Poor design or quality
The item broke immediately after putting my foot on it when it was locked into the lowest setting. I don't know if it was a flawed design or there was a crack in it but I probably put no more than 25 pounds of pressure on it before it collapsed. I then purchased a Neewer foot rest which seems to be better constructed.
