Overall these remotes are great. A must-have for anyone that watches TV in low light conditions.
I purchased two of these RC73B remotes. I was able to program the remote that operates my DVR very quickly (it was in line of sight) but I needed Directv support to program the one that controlled my Genie Mini. My Genie Mini is behind my TV on a wall so I had to aim the remote behind the top of the TV to the Genie to get it to recognize the remote. Operation is pretty good but not as good as the lighted Xfinity remote, which lights up with a gentle shake. These remotes light up with a switch on the side or by pushing any button on the remote when it's dark, which is pretty good because the Directv doesn't do anything on that first push of a button anyway. Overall very satisfied and much better than having to carry a flashlight around with my remote!
