  Lovely item , in great condition for its age. Great communication. Sounds great . Loving it, thank you. Even through the item was extremely very well packed, with “ fragile “ stickers all over the box, unfortunately,the lid did not survive the journey. One on the corners ,with the hinge had broken off . No fault of the seller though. Delivery people have less time to care these days, I presume. I have used super glue to repair. See how looping it lasts.

  I really apologise (on behalf of the courier) for the lid damage. Both sides already had short hinge cracks which I pointed out in the description - these lids are heavy, the hinges are 'damped' so that the lid remains open when raised, so additional strain on the Perspex every time. I packed and padded the whole deck as carefully as possible but I guess the fragility of 60 year-old Perspex and a careless courier won! Really glad you love the deck, I took a lot of care restoring it.
