Electrically dangerous peice of Rubbish - Stay clear

Bought one of these from AMI Tools and it worked quite well for a short while and I was fairly pleased. While I was using it the moulded 13a plug literally exploded and caught fire. Thinking that I was just unlucky and had a faulty plug I opened up the casing to see if it was an easy job to replace the lead. I was absolutely shocked to see the internal wiring inside the casing was just twisted together to make a joint and there was no solder or mechanical means on the wiring joints. I am probably lucky to be alive, this is a poorly manufactured dangerous blower probably made in a back alley in china. Contacted AMI Tools and got nowhere? Stay clear if you want to live!
