High quality item from a name respected by the professionals.
Quality is obviously a step above what is produced by the usual gimmicky EDC flashlight manufacturers. Well worth the extra coin for the proven reliability. Not a one-size-fits-all that doesn't-fit-anything.
For smaller hands and trigger-finger operation the paddle-style switch on the TLR-1 HL (not compact but 1000 lumens) is better, as would be the rear-facing switches on the other TLR-7 version.

3 of 3 found this helpful First of all, Sawyer is a superior brand, all of their products are top performers. This repellent performs as described, as with all repellents, rain and heavy perspiration will require reapplication. Bring a small container of this into the field with you. If chiggers are a concern, apply to bare feet and ankles prior to putting on socks. Chiggers can go into footwear and socks, and even directly through some footwear and most socks. I have not seen this lotion to leave permanent stains on washable items and it does not attack synthetic fabrics at all, as DEET may do. Do not ingest of course, but with DEET I would occasionally get the nasty taste from cross-contamination or sloppy application, that doesn't happen with this lotion.
