Totally entertainment for the entire family!
1 of 1 found this helpful My wife and I knew that we were not going to see Julie Andrews again, but Emily Blunt did not disappoint us at all. She was excellent in the role of Mary Poppins, and she had a beautiful singing voice. Lin-Manuel Miranda as Jack was a perfect side-kick for Mary and was delightful with both his singing and dancing. The guest stars were a real "hoot" (especially the return of Dick Van Dyke.) This is one we will probably watch over and over again.

Math 76: An Incremental Development by John Saxon
2 of 3 found this helpful This would be an excellent Math book (or series) for home schooling. I have been a public school teacher for over 30 years, and I have used this particular book for sixth-grade students for several years with GREAT success. It has constant review and practice so the student learns the concepts well and retains them. The instructions and explanations in the student copy is great so a teacher's edition is not really necessary. Saxon is an incremental series and has books for all grade levels. There is also a testing packet that gives a check-up after every 5 lessons. I highly recommend it. These books run around $40 from the publisher, but I got a personal copy (just like new) to keep at home from an ebay auction for $10.

Christmas in July
You just can't beat Christmas songs sung by the mello voice of Johnny Mathis, and this CD has all of the ones that you love to hear at Christmas. My wife and I were watching a special on TV about Johnny and realized that we didn't have any of his
music, and since Christmas is our favorite holiday, we decided to buy one of his Christmas CDs. We had to listen to it as soon as it arrived and were not a bit disappointed. We will probably listed to it several more times before we put it away so I guess it will be Christmas in July.
