great functional water heater
For my purpose this tea urn is almost spot on. The thermostat is not very accurate and the sight glass is not graduated by volume, it's just 8/10ths full etc. Litres or pints would have been more useful. I only need one specific temperature (for sparge water heating), and since I have this temp. marked off on the dial the water heater has been great, reliable and simple to use.
