Delicate and lacy.
This beautiful die cuts well and because the design ends without a straight edge, allows the artist to choose the frame size. A very delicate, lacy design.

Santa's Twin by Dean Koontz (1996, Hardcover)
Ten years ago, about the time my son entered Junior High, in 1989, I bought this book. Initially, I was curious to see what Dean Koontz had come up with in the line of a Christmas story. After the first few pages, I knew I had found something special. I thought my son had outgrown reading Christmas stories "with his Mom," until I called him over to the couch and we began reading "Santa's Twin" together. I'd read the left hand pages out loud, and he'd read the right hand pages. Today he is 22, and it's become an annual tradition to sit and read this book together. Over the years I've purchased copies of "Santa's Twin" for my friends and relatives with Junior High aged children. Every year I get feed back from the adults and teens. ----- "Santa's Twin" is an amazingly delightful story for both adults and children who have outgrown "Frosty." The illustrations are wonderful. You will never get tired of it. And who am I giving this copy to? My cousin, so she can read it with her granddaughter.

Well Illustrated and Understandable Step-by-Step Instructions
Bought it as a gift, but browsing through the pages made me want to try carving, too. Step by step explanations. List of materials and tools needed. Illustrations on just about every page. Can't wait to see what my nephew will make after he gets this book.
