1 of 1 found this helpful I like my bdp-s1 very much ,Sony invented bluray technology so the quality was to be expected, it plays my dvd's with much better quality then my older DVD player and the sound quality , through my harman Kardon 7.1 receiver and infinity speakers is pure perfection and picture on my Sony HDTV is unsurpassed, I recommend this unit to anyone looking for an awesome home theater experience!!!
