Just as good as the old Thomas the Tank
When my boy was little we bought the old ‘Ringo Starr’ episodes on VHS Video. What were they you are probably thinking. Google it. Now that boy has two of his own we are buying the episodes all over again. Now we’re talking CGI DVDs but the above feature film (one an hour) is just as charming as they ever were. I thought the length of the tale might bore a two year old and a five year, but not at all. In fact a few adults became quiet as the story unfolded. Embarrassing.
All the old trains and friends with new ones introduced.
I can’t see why the little ones in your family wouldn’t enjoy this story.

Very late review on a great film
Somebody told me this is a fine movie, I'd never seen it, so around 43 years after its release, I bought a copy.
Yeah, brilliant drama. Tight script, great desperate characters, very well acted, and a true story.
Usually true stories leave me cold, but this is remarkable and bizarre.
If you've seen this movie, take no more notice of me, if you haven't, take a chance.

Hasn’t dated over the years
First saw this on the tv in the 1970’s, blimey that a long time ago, and watching this again is a pleasure. Hasn’t dated at all. Still fresh and funny.
