It's our Star Wars...
A bonnet rusted, tyre-squealed used Aussie future headed by vigilante cop Max {Mel Gibson}, going from law enforcer to revenge-seeking man. The look and feel of the film convinces you that we are {were, 1978} already in the future.
Great movie, which is better over a few Aussie beers.
