Re-fit the split
This is the best way to get top results. Start at the very beginning and work through each stage of your restoration, don’t rush ,follow each stage to the end
Don’t try short cuts but remain a little flexible in the process, the end results will reflect the care in which you have taken

Bad Day for “ Bodgers”
This is the book that has been missing from the gun fanciers library, it has the proper ways to do a job,the legal obligations of the gun owner and the repairer ,care and repair of the woodwork and a good glimpse at the British proof system all rolled into the one package. Good value.
